We are thrilled to welcome Trish Sullivan as part of the Nurture team. Trish is a mother of six children and a grandmother of 2. During her most recent pregnancy she received continuity of care with a midwife who could support, advocate and
teach her as well as believe in her ability to birth her baby. Her son was born vaginally after 5 previous caesareans and this experience inspired her to begin her own journey into midwifery.
Trish will be with Nurture until the end of 2018 and will be mentored by Sonya, as well as the other midwives as part of her ongoing learning to become a qualified midwife. As a student midwife, Trish’s role will be to observe and engage with the midwives and families at Nurture throughout their birthing journey in the pregnancy, during the birth, and in the postnatal period.
